The
Lavazza Espresso Point Matinee system is a breakthrough in espresso brewing
technology. It allows anybody to effortlessly prepare a perfect cup of espresso
or cappuccino at the touch of a button and in just a few seconds. Hundreds of
thousands of Lavazza Espresso Point machines are used in Italy and around the
world due to their clean brewing system, clever design, commercial build quality
and good looks.
The patented Lavazza Espresso Point system uses prepackaged cartridges
filled with Lavazza's best espresso roasts. Simply insert a cartridge of your
favorite blend in the provided slot, push a dose button (choose between regular,
medium or long), and in seconds your espresso is ready. A built-in steaming wand
allows you to easily froth milk to prepare cappuccinos like the ones served at
the best coffee bars. You can also dispense hot water from the wand, rather than
steam, to prepare teas, soups, etc.
The built-in, removable tank holds nearly 1 gallon of water, minimizing the need
for frequent refills. The commercial quality pump-driven system is calibrated to
take maximum advantage of the patented disposable cartridges provided by Lavazza,
and is designed for years of trouble-free use. Used cartridges are automatically
ejected in a collecting drawer, where they can be easily disposed of or placed
in your city's Recycle bin. The body of the Matinee is entirely made of
chrome-plated stainless steel with elegant gold accents, and looks great with
any decor, from traditional kitchens to modern office environments.
